Course Overview

Course Overview

This online Fire Safety Awareness course gives employees the practical knowledge to prevent fires, respond appropriately in an emergency, and support safe evacuation in the workplace.

The course focuses on how fires start and spread and on everyday actions that reduce risk. It explains the role of fire safety systems and equipment, including alarms, detectors and fire doors and what staff are expected to do if something is not right. The content follows a clear structure, covering fire prevention, fire safety systems, emergency response and reporting.

By the end of the course, learners will be able to recognise common fire risks, understand their responsibilities, and take appropriate action to prevent fire and respond safely in an emergency. The final assessment checks understanding across all key topics and confirms learners can apply what they have learned in a workplace context.
